This pear was on my to-do list for awhile so I finally went over to see if I could get a good pic of it today when we were out and about. I really like all the grey; grey steel, grey ground, grey sky!

Petpalooza was today. I took about 500 pictures and it was hard to choose just one. I had ALOT of clear action shots. (Thanks though Dad, NONE of my pics before sports mode turned out). I think I will upload the rest of my pics onto my flickr or facebook. It was a fun day! And Murphy was a pretty good boy. He didn't growl at anyone until we sat down to watch these dog shows. He even licked people's legs. He is a pretty hard dog to figure out sometimes!

Breaking the rules! Ellen's mom brought her dog with her to help her move and she brought her upstairs. She was definitely freaked out, but atleast she didn't start barking so no one caught her. She finally settled down on this cushion on the hall though. (Believe it or not that IS a futon cushion, and it feels like you are sitting on a nice pile of rocks).

Sign of Spring, sidewalk chalk everywhere! This is on campus, I liked the chalk everywhere. The girl who did this saw me taking pictures of it and talked with me for a bit. I told her she should do it all over campus-- livens things up a bit!

I am working on my nature shots, because that's a basic and I am not good at it. I like this shot-- I know it could be a lot better because it was taken with a slow shutter speed. What you think? (Dad and Sue). This was on Sue's porch after the BBQ with waning light.

I have been receiving alot of comments from the family about not keeping this up to date (Even though they don't comment anyways!) Soooo here they all are. I took this because I thought the stairs looked so rickety...it doesnt really show up in this picture, but I like the lighting.

This is the water feature in 'Water Gardens' my grandpa's 50+ community. It's really nice and quiet. We came here to feed the fish, and they end up jumping out of the water to get the food. It was actually kind of scary, right when you throw food the water immediately comes to life.

I had a few other pictures that I took at Safeco Field today, but I decided to use this one because I think it illustrates what was really important to me and Ellen at the game. This is extra garlic! We also ate Good N' Plentys, and discovered that garlic and licorice combines to create a flavor kind of like blood. I don't recommend it. I'm sure we will smell like garlic tomorrow, and our mouths were burning the whole time, but it was worth it.

This is in the music building (Mary Baker Russell). Its a really nice building and there are 4 circular clusters of Chihuly glass plates. I didnt get the 4th one in this picture which would have added something... its red; so I'll have to go back on a sunnier day and try for something else since today was so windy. Anyways, my ISO was slightly too high though. But I like the angle.

Okay, so I finally slipped up... I was in bed last night and realized : I completely forgot to take my picture. So here's my nightstand (taken by my cell phone camera no less..I stooped that low) and I took a 'negative' colored picture of it because it was honestly the only thing that would make it more interesting. I am definitely going to step up the quality of my pics!

I know, I know, I have been slacking. Had a really uneventful weekend and my pictures definitely show it. I was trying to capture the colors in the tiles-- but it didn't really work. It is better than my May 2nd pic though...
